Forgive me if I must say
I'd rather love a girl
Than fight a war
I'd see her smile and stay
I would stay with you in my way
I salute to never betray
You're my general
So you will never see a funeral
That flag that you see
Is my surrender to your love
I'm sinking in your sea
But I'm trained from above
So I always use a glove
I still trust us no matter what
Do you understand yet?
I think I've said enough …

it is a cute poem but the way it flows doesn't seem right. the point is sweet and cute but the word choice could improve. i do like this poem though, very nice.
