My Heart Will Still Beat
December 29, 2009
On the outside i'm smiling
but on the inside i'm dying,
As you walk by,
my heart begins to cry
I say I don't need you
I wish what I say was true,
It's hard to live with only half a heart,
Don't worry,
i'll find a new guy,
with a new start
It won't be easy,
i'm not saying that,
you'll always be in my heart,
and that's a fact
Regrets, Regrets,
So many I have...
just thinking about it makes me sad
I thought you made my heart complete,
but know that you're gone,
It's still gonna beat <3

I like the way you xpress the mood of a heartac.he Its true, the first cut is always the deepest, but time will heal. Keep writing Hallmark could use you.!
I really like the theme of this poem, and I adore the last line. the beginning, however, is a little.. common. if you know what I mena by that. I feel like i've heard it before. that doesn't make it less pretty, but it just doesn't stand out in my memory. however, the last line will stick with me.
