untamed eyebrows and
chipped red nails
a stain on her white t-shirt,
its covered by a bulky hoodie.
there's x's and o's written on the knee of her
worn blue jeans,
and her hair is brown and frizzy.
but still, I smile when I see her coming,
her kaleidoscope eyes and huge smile
I wrap her in a hug, and kiss her
soft cheek.
she's effortlessly beautiful.
