A Redundant Death
He inhaled one last time
A small tear let forming in his right eye
 It was unfair
 The world unkind
But in his sad life he couldn’t rewind
 He couldn’t get back
 All he had lost
Although he would have sacrificed anything
 No matter the cost
 He lay there
As the blood dripped from his veins
 And flailed slightly
Before passing out in the rain
 What a terrible sight
 Of darkness and despair
And how unfortunate that no one was there
The night was the only witness of his passing
A quiet event that had no lasting impact
 The world just kept turning
 People living on blindly,
 Not learning.
