I see them,
there sitting on stage...
with their instruments in hand,
their concentrated faces staring up,
up at the conductor.

They are ready,

they are serious,


they want to rock on.
But the conductor is holding them back,
not yet... not yet did he want to begin.

He waited for a moment,
then gave his last encouraging glances.
Then the sound came.
It filled the room and completely changed,




the mood....

They are sooo perfect.
They are the best musicians.
Some are friends,

some are friends to look forward to for the future.

I sigh,
I wish that I could be as good as...


THEM....

After the beautiful tone stopped,
I had made up my mind....

I was getting into Wind Ensemble.

I had to try...
no matter what happens,



I can NOT give up my DREAM.

Working hard now,
I may have a chance.
I may have a chance.

Giving up is not an option.
Trying harder is....
There are two paths;




Wind Ensemble






OR






Symphonic band.

But my question is....




Will I make it?
