Smile

"Smiles are contageous,"
my kindergarden teacher said.
But I wasn't smiling
when that little boy grinned
and pulled my hair out of my head.
"A smile can turn a person's day around."
Well that one was certainly true.
Next time I see that boy smile,
I will run 'til I turn blue.
But frowning doesn't do much good.
'Cuz when I frowned at him,
instead of saying sorry,
he said he can't wait to do it again.
