the scars on your body,
show the hard times you've been through.
they show what is left of your battle wounds.
the remains of your hardships.
the callouses on your hands
showcase your many talents.
they reveal your rough side to the world
the tough skin a person has to get through
to be close to you.
your eyes give us glimpses of your inner soul
the show us your true feelings
and whether or not you speak the truth.
every part of you
shows the people around
a little bit more of yourself
and what makes you you.
don't hide it.
