Proud Part of the Pride

Bubbling laughs burst through the silence
Filling me with warmth and joy
Friends together against the odds
Never to judge one another to harshly
Standing together against all destructive forces
Protecting one another with the intensity of the lion
That’s what we are… a pride
A pride that cannot be separated
Even if we go our separate ways
We will still be part of the pride
Always welcome, always home
No one can change that
That is why I am proud to be part of this pride
This pride of misfits
I will always fit in here
