Live. Love. Laugh.

My heart is broken.
I lie down in pieces on the floor.
I look out my window, crying for someone to hear me.
Alone, cold I walk into the woods.
I come upon a creek that has offered me comfort for years.
I look at myself in the water.
I don't know who is looking back at me.
I touch the reflection and it pulls me in.
She holds me under as I struggle.
The girl I once knew refuses to resist.
Soon I feel my mind become heavy and I close my eyes.
I don't think about it.
How it felt like a thousand knives piercing my body.
How no one came to save me.
Just like the girl named Ophelia.
I drown in my own creek of tears I've wept.
Gone. Dead. Free from this dead plane of existence.
Perfectly still, silent.
Like a broken doll I lie on the bottom of the water bed.
The End.

The author's comments:
I hadn't really written anything in a long time. So I tried to force it and nothing, then when a moment of heartache occurred I remembered the girl named Ophelia.
