This place is so unreal,
Familiar to say the least.
Smoke vacates the storm
That wards off this beast.

Lightning crashes off count
Losing its beat to the crowd of none.
Clouds battle for breathless air,
Eradicating the sun.

Light flashes the still frames
Of terror set on this tread.
Pouring rain drowns out
The silence of the dead.

But nothing washes out
The stench of stolen lives.
Thunder replaces thunder
As each attack dies.

This place is not a town,
It’s been torn apart.
This place is not what it once was,
It’s a graveyard.
