In Toronto
The Snow Dances lazily in the whispering wind
Softly illuminated by the dim glow of the streetlights
Slowly it scatters across the bleak pavements
Giving each street a fresh lick of paint
Each backyard a classic Christmas card

In Miami
The shimmering sea gleams in the mid-afternoon sun
Each grain of sand refacting a thousand rays of light into the passing sunglasses
Ice creams melting over hungry mouths,
Sea licks the golden coast

In Rio
The kids skip the dusty streets
Man, Woman, Young, Old, Black, White
All congregated on the street
Forgetting the week before

In San Fransisco
The Golden Gate welcomes the pilgrim of pleasure
The mysterious city shrouded in chilly summer fog
The Cable Cars run from each edge of the city
Into the streets of Chinatown and the hills of the Pacific Heights

In London
The rain of summer, cool and refreshing twinkles on the river
The people, coming from every land take a thousand pictures
Of Royal Palaces and Graffiti clad trains
The city is ancient yet modern

In New York
The Yellow Cabs rush by
As eyes gleam and gleaming goods and fall at sky high prices
As the river runs past Miss Liberty and below the bridge of Brooklyn
The Skyscrapers pierce the sky, flaunting their majesty to the passing stranger

Just you know amazed by these hyper-cities that so dominate the area around them
