close your eyes and listen
let darkness rule its night
make the world stop spinning
hide me from the light

secrets are like spiders
lies make their webs of white
don't get caught when passing
hide swiftly in your fright

so many foolishly wander
and are bitten on the hand
poison conquers once more
above a silken strand
