I can’t believe it!
I’m so frantically ridiculously
LATE !!!
Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!
why can’t I ever be on
TIME?!!!
faces blur by on fast-forward and suddenly
ONE
blossoms out of the sea and time comes to a screeching
STOP.
in a second that is a lifetime I
SEE
remarkably clear and exquisitely breathtaking
EYES
a promise and a curse
a beginning and an end
a metamorphosis
And then as though it had never been
GONE.
