Will We Figure Out this Puzzle?
Pitter, patter goes the rain,
one lone street light leads us onward.
I recall our footsteps splashing through every
puddle.
This is new to me:
you’re new to me.
Every smile, giggle, and laugh...
it’s all so different,
but wonderful all the same.
Looking back on that rainy night,
I know that’s when I realized how I felt.
Me and You. You and Me: our
feelings.
Now I’m frustrated.
It’s all a puzzle that seems impossible to finish.
How can we tell each other how we feel?
When we both seem so frustrated,
with these darn, impossible puzzles?
Once again we’re on a street.
A different kind of street,
a street that leads to our
future.
Can we find a way to the end of this street?
To future love?
To us?
There’s only one way to find out...
we have to take our chances.
