Empty Space
I’m the breathless soul,
The empty space,
The flame blown out
By teenage lips.
He burnt you up,
And spit you out.
But you created these ashy embers in your womb.
Feel empty?
You are e m p t y.
I’m nameless,
I’m Breathless.
Merely a night drenched in his sweat and tequila.
Too much,
too late?
I’m your empty space.
I’ll fill you up,
And burn your thoughts
But you created this empty space.
Call it forced.
But you gave in too quick.
Say you drank
But we both know,
He drank you.
He burnt you up,
And drank you down.
But you created this empty space.
