It's funny how
Three sentences
Can tear two people
Apart.
It's funny how
Just a few words
Could break a poor girl's
Heart.
It's painful how
Just one small lie
Can split a heart
In two.
And it's painful how
Just two more words
Could mend it back
Like glue.

The author's comments:
I learned that it's ok to cry or eat tubs of ice cream after getting your heart broken. It's ok to write poems and yell. But it's not ok to forgive them if they think "I'm sorry" will fix everything.

I like this...simple, cute, but sad. Yes, I think eating tubs of ice cream is the best therapy 2! :)
