Outcasts
on the edge of humanity,
clinging to their hearts
and each other's souls.
Some break off,
falling below the surface
while others cry
and feel their bodies strain
with the effort of holding,
hanging,
onto the life they so desperately want.
The weirdos,
the emos,
the outcasts.
