Oh Mighty Winter and Wind
Oh Mighty Winter and Wind
Oh, mighty winter and wind,
Give me what I desire so!
Give me the chilling breeze that freezes my face and numbs my bones.
Give me the moonlight the glows upon me and blinds my vision.
Give me the unusual drain of energy and desperation as you so eagerly give others.
Oh, mighty winter and wind,
Give me the isolation of your wrath and let all I see be stone.
Oh, mighty winter and wind,
Give me fear as the frost slowly drags my life to a bitter end!
Do this so I may understand the feelings of others who are not as fortunate as I.
As, although a plane is safer on the ground, its purpose is to fly.
Inspired by Walt Whitman
