Overload
My life is a mess.
It’s full of stress.
I can’t get into my dress.
I’ve had to eat less.
I’ll have to wear those uncomfortable heels.
Guys just don’t know how bad it feels.
I can’t do a thing with my hair.
It looks like a disaster.
Life’s just not fair.
Time keeps going by faster.
The dance is tomorrow.
My heart is full of sorrow.
I don’t have a date,
since I broke up with Nate.
My head feels like it’s spinning
There’s just no winning
My head will explode.
I just can’t stand this overload.
I hope it’s not too late,
to have a change of fate.
The new guy at school sure is cool,
with his British accent, from Liverpool.
He’s all alone and he’s walking towards ME!
Can it really be? Who does he want to see?
He asks me for a date. I just can’t wait!
I feel so much better because we’re going together
