On the Road
On the road
 In another zip code
 With no where to go
 Just driving slow
 Seeing nothing
 Yet everything
 Miles and miles
 I drive with a smile
At the chance to get away
 Away for another day
 Seeking nothing
 Yet everything
 I find a bay
 Where I will stay
 Only for the night
 Until it gets bright
 For the chance
 To get a glance
 For something more
than this life of a bore.
 Maybe just maybe
It’ll be more than a spree.
