People hate me
Why? I don’t know
All they do is look at me
And their opinions out they throw

Their judgments are so harsh
On just the way I look
They yell at me pure ignorance
And then my feelings shook

You may not ever like me
But it’s a matter of respect
Treat them with human dignity
And they will do the same back

The author's comments:
I was inspired to write this after I saw a young girl being made fun of at the movies by girls she has never said a word to in her life. I hope people will get the message of mutual respect.
