Compulsion
Why do you look at my face
Like it is the only thing there is to see?
You hold me down with your incessant eyes,
I cannot breathe.
I give you my hand
And you take it away,
Yet inside your eyes the moonlight plays
Like a thousand tiny candles,
Glittering awry,
Lit with your insatiable greed,
Lingering by and by.
And pooling around my heart,
Drowning in the dark.
I am suffocating in your every touch,
I need you and it hurts so much.
