When I tell you I love you, I mean it
It doesn't mean that you'll believe it.
I never stopped feeling for you, I don't think I can.
I don't expect you to feel the same, or try to understand.
I can only hope, we can mend these broken ties.
Destroying all the animosity and hatred that underlies.
I'm sorry that I hurt you, I know I crossed the line.
I wish I could find a way to turn back time.
When we were still smiling, and we were happy.
Go back to the way things should be.
Now I know things will never be the same,
All I can do is give you my promise, that things will change.
Maybe we can talk it out, start over as friends?
Just please don't tell me this is the end.
I'd do anything just for one more moment, one smile.
Maybe then I could be happy for a while.
I hate the way I screwed things up,
And I know that you've had enough.
Give me one last chance, my last try to prove my worth,
Then you can crush my heart in the dirt.
We can pretend we just met..
Just tell me it's not over, not yet
