The weird feeling in my gut won’t seem to end
And the weird thing is, I don’t want it to
The endless doubts race through my mind
And the weird thing is, I don’t want them to stop
The nervousness when we talk continues to this day
And the weird thing is, I don’t want it to go away
The hope for a future so utterly dark won’t leave
And the weird thing is, I want that to stay
