I'm still here
A baby bird in a nest.
Just keep that in mind.
Please don't just move on
Like the seasons change
With no sign of regret.
Have I even effected you?
The littlest bit?
As I bite down
on my lip
I strive for you more
Reaching for your heart But, you won't reach
back out.
You've already left.
I know your too far
To hear me now
But before you forget,
Just keep in mind
That just like you

Is there a signifigance to the stars at the end of your poems? I love this too... they should invent something called 'Favorite Authors' cuz you'd be on it, along with Emilytheauthor.... I like how you break the lines, I tend to do that too though sometimes it backfires and ends up hitting the poem in the back. Did I mention I love this??
