How many poems does my
restless mind lose as I drift to sleep each night?
How many verses do I conjure
but am too tired to write?
Where do my lost sonnets go,
as they fade away into the night?
Who reads their unfinished lines?
Or are they just forever lost,
never to be found by searching minds-

The author's comments:
As I fell asleep one night I thought of a poem but I was too lazy/tired to get up to write it and it made me think how many other nights has this happened? How many other poems did I just never write? So I got up wrote down the poem and wrote this.
