I feel like Cinderella,
That night at the ball,
I have to run, when the clock strikes,
but I know I'll see you again.

I feel like Cinderella,
Dancing in her glass slippers,
Feeling like a million dollars,
But I know I'll see you again.

I feel like Cinderella,
waiting for her prince to come,
To slip on that slipper,
But I know I'll see you again.

I feel like Cinderella,
the time she was locked in a room,
To scared and angry to keep it together,
But I know I'll see you again.

I feel like Cinderella,
Everytime you look at me,
When we see each other in the hall,
But I know I'll see you again.

The author's comments:
You know that feeling you get, when a crush looks at you and smiles, but doesn't say anything and walks away, this is what the poem's about. That feeling like I want to see more, and be with you, but I know I'll see that smile again someday.
