Footprints in the sand
Show where we have been
Moments ago from our past
Documented to last
As we stride forwards
Pacing through each step
Thinking about the future
For each second
Is locked in time
But as we step off the beach
Just to look back at where we’ve been
The tide comes rolling in
To wipe our footsteps Clear
Creating a new blank piece of sand
To start a new
For some one else’s journey
Who comes through
