When I look in that mirror
I see horror
I see terror
I see an unleashed beast
I see darkness and sadness
I see angels and demons battling
I see goodness being buried alive by badness
I see darkness eliminating light
I see fear and tears
Tears that turned into a stream of blood
I see a soul collector executing a shadow
I see the shadow being cremated
Then
I see the shadow’s ashes reincarnating
Into the shadow it was
I see it being dragged into the underworld
I see Death rising up
The stream of blood
With a skull in one hand
I see Death throw the skull at the mirror
I see the mirror shatter
And scatter
Just then
I see the shadow again
But now I recognize
Whose shadow it was
It was my shadow
It belonged to me…
And only me…
