Memories of a Snowflake

All the memories trickling down,
in an itsy bitsy snowflake
pile up on a snowy mound

Every snowflake equals a single memory;
the joyful, the drastic, the exciting, all of those times,
Many past events of your life to make a story

A story that is still in the making,
right now, even though you might not remember it,
this is your time you are using up

Is this the way you want to be?
Are you the person you’ve dreamed of?
Who are you…It’s not time to ask - find out for yourself

Each memory-a snowflake- sparkles a bright white color
as they hit the sunlight,
each as a unique experience

The snowflakes make up you, the person you are now,
nobody’s perfect, and that’s okay
For, your mistakes create a beautiful radiance

Don’t forget; you are in charge of you
It doesn’t matter what your snowflakes look like…
All memories are important to keep

If you lose grasp of them, as the snowflake melts away
A piece of you may be gone forever
Never forget; You shine greatly

Wow! Loved it! You do shine greatly and you are a wonderful snowflake that I have the honor of having each week!
