"What can I say? I'm me."

I never knew that such joy could be derived
From a memory,
From a person,
From a place.

And yet,
Life’s biggest revelation
Is that the little things
Make you smile,
Make you dream,
Make you believe.

And ultimately,
I still try to find the factors,
The secret ingredients,
The components,
To live a life full a constant pleasure

A life of gayness,
A life merriment,
A life of elation,
As I continue on
In my pursuit of happiness

It is not the most amazing poem in the world, however, I think that it conveys the reality that in life, the little things are what makes someonw happy, not neccesarily always the big things, for example, many people are happier if people smile at them on the street as opposed to being filthy rich!
