Too many.

Keys playing slowly
Softly pacing one by one
Ebony and Ivory
Both in unison now

Filling the air with sweet sound
Refreshing as the mountain air
Hands going over each note
With delicacy and care

A sonata empowering
Enough to make the sky weep
Tears of stars and a face of glowing moon
Into the bones of those the music seeps

Each tone pulling at a beating heart
Emotions never falter
This music, from end to start
So modest in its tune

Able to make one laugh or cry
Making the heart live or die
Hidden feelings boil true
To the sounds of this soft tune

Two people humming it now
So low only the night can hear
Their love forever glowing true
The sonata of the moon...

I wrote this a long time ago, my inspiration being my piano! It's funny how something can take you so far.

It was great. I love the subject matter and how you made something like the sound of a piano even more beautiful. Great job!

This is really beautiful, I play the piano myself and this is a great and descriptive piece. My favorite part is the last two stanzas. Great job, 5/5
