You lie
You lie
You lie
And now you're leaving
Where are you going?
Back to mama and papa
To silver platters of
Cakes,
Pastries,
Lounging lazily and demanding scarily
served to you by
Your servants
That place,
Your cowardly haven,
Where no one will dare offend you
Say a word that doesn't please you
To be catered to,
In that big cacoon you can
Never quite shake off
Where everything
Revolves
Around you
Where you can act like
The child you are
So far from us down on earth
You can age as much as you want
Put on as many business suits as you can afford
Stand straight and stare down at me,
So pretentiously
However many times you can
But you'll always be
A child
Will you someday reazlize
The people serving you are people as well?
Oh, Pardon me
Please forgive my impudence
My extreme disrespect, no offense meant
For not treating you like a pretty pink princess
For maybe thinking
That I have feelings too
Not hovering around you,
Never ready to grant you every wish
You can go.
I used to admire you,
Adore you
I used to love you
Now I realize
There's not enough room in your heart
For anyone but yourself
So you can leave
Go, go now,
I'm begging you, encouraging you,
Leave quick as you can
Now, now!
And don't look back, because
I sure won't be watching
Your retreating figure
