Apathy
Its summertime
The city breathes
This is my city
Walking through the endless maze
I can Feel her sadness
She suffers in silence
The homeless beggars
The drug dealers
The countless multitude
Of broken hearts
Searching in the night
For something to hold on to
As much as I want to leave her
I could never hate her
Is mankinds ruthless malevolence
Her fault?
No
Her heart
Like mine
has been broken by thier
Apathy
