I have the chills, they're electrifying
I have the chills.
The little prickles running down my spine,
and spreading out across every limb on my body.
As if a tree got struck by lightning,
the lightning would run up the trunk,
and then fizzle out to all the limbs it supports up.
Paralyzing the whole tree,
possibly killing it.
That’s what chills are like for people,
except...
less threatening.
