Remembering the lost
It will never be the same
It won’t be the same and he knows it
It won’t be the same and he understands it
That doesn’t mean that he accepts it
He knows that it would never work out
But that won’t stop him from wanting more
Because what he had was special
It wasn’t something that can just be said
 Or something that just happens
It was something that may never happen again
But he’ll never forget that’s for sure
Because they were the best of times
They were the worst of times
But he’ll never forget those warm summer days
Or when he went running with her in the rain
 He will never forget
 I will never forget
