don’t you realize
you deserve better
your enchanting eyes
don’t deserve their lies
your amazing heart
don’t deserve the drama they start
I love you
she likes you
you’re her little toy
standing before me
you’re changing from a man to a boy
don’t see the love I can give
don’t wanna reach for the best
you just forgive
her petty lies
they’ll build up over time
they’ll explode
I’ll always be their for you
to clean up the mess
but through it
can’t you progress
and see
the possibility
of you and me
