I would hate to imply
I’m not a happy guy
But I’m not
Please let me explain why
Although I smile a lot
And share a happy thought
It’s untrue
I’m really quite distraught
It’s not because of you
That my mind is askew
It is me
It would seem in review
So I give you this plea
Look in your heart and see
When I sigh
It’s for a lack of glee

Very intense piece. Really moved my emotions, with the content and rhythm.
