My Monster
Sometimes he looks like a wave about to crash over you but,
His not a wave in motion
A waterless person,
Who’s tan like the salty dessert
And when you bite it there crunchy like raw rice
They taste like grime and the heat of there atmosphere weighs you down,
Making you dried up to your bones
You feel crazy and alone
No matter how far you walk your still in the same dessert
And your walking seems like your still standing, unmoving
The trees you pass are always the same ones
They don’t kill you,
They let you sit in the shade of the tree to endure the suffering
