Fading Heart
You’re gone and I’m not
 Gone forever
Never to be seen again but, a picture
Time goes by and the seconds that pass grow
It gets hard to remember your voice
 What you were like
Memories of you slip away little by little
The brick wall gets thicker as it tries to block the hammer that knocks
And erases you slowly to take away the pain
Even though I can handle it now it still hurts
How everything would be different if you were here
You would be angry with me for giving up
But you would be proud of me for trying again
 I miss you
Things would be better if you were here
I wish I could tell you that
I love you, always and forever
And that will never go away
