Your smile leaves a permanent
imprint on my heart each and
every day
I want to run to you, let you
hold me in your arms.
Your eyes shine like the stars
glare in the vast midnight-blue
sky
Therefore, it's an understatement
when I say my stomach clenches
everytime I have to just keep
walking on by
I can't let you see my pain, your
beautiful face crumpled in
anguish for me
You have treated me always with
such care, forever kind
I'm ashamed to say your facade
never seems to escape my mind

Oh. My. Goodness. I absolutely LOVE this piece! It actually brought tears to my eyes. I can relate to this in every way. And I'm sure others can too. Please keep writing, and if you want check out some of my work. :)

wow :D i loved this one. you really know how to take a feeling everybody gets sometime or another, even if you don't know where it came from, and put it into amazing words with great detail. love, love, loved it!!!!!!!!!!
