The Saddest Sea
Treacherous seas, I call adventure
“You’ll die out there!,” They say
You’ll never stop me, I’ve already embarked
Into the storm, aimed straight for her heart.
Dark waters near, an alluring pull
This is the end of me
She will bring me down, make this a sinking ship
There are no last regrets, that will leave these lips.
Terrible waves, tear at my structure
I wont abandon hope
Because I know she has a heart worth finding
Wrapped in disbelief, I will tear the binding!
And now I’m lost at sea, with nothing
Lone and empty hearted
No land in sight, no one to put me at ease
I guess for now, I will swim the saddest sea
