Weigh the Quaint
Weigh the quaint with frivolous matters thus-
When triumphs ending sooth the broken soul,
Then pierce it happy through faint and death,
Until at last she meets her goal.
No sense it makes to you right now?
it shouldn't, for Jabberwocky it seems
Has more joy with life than realists rarely try.
Then asking butter from a neighbor is
An act of bother,
Or is it that
Neighbors should talk,
And know another too
For we're tied together by a family glue.
But massages and polish and tanning beds try
With a valiant effort to mend the sails.
Though shallow things tend to break apart
At the very moment we need them most.
