Today was perfect.
I've never felt this way before
But I think I like it
There's this perfect light in your eyes
It takes my breath away
I fell asleep so close to you
And woke up to your kiss
If every day could start like that
I'd never have to cry in your arms
Or tear-stain your shirt ever again
I'll have to wait a few more years,
But it still was a perfect day.
