Party in the Garden
There’s a party in the garden
And everyone’s invited
The crimson kissed buds clasp onto the thorny stems
The wind whispers, creating a comforting breeze
Which carries the tiny bumble bees
Into view and politely greets the blossoms,
Circling around them (as water in a Jacuzzi wanders into eddies)
Grasshoppers frolic within the untamed grass
(Which resembles one’s unruly just-got-out-of-bed hair)
Robins levitate in the air, driven by
Wondrous scenery
They travel so high, as if an artist had granted them paintbrushes to paint the sky as blue as it is now
The azure ceiling is finished off with cotton- like clouds
The egg-yolk, which has been at the party all along,
Illuminating the garden, bids farewell
A petal from the flower drops onto the grass
The bumble bees receive their good -bye present and excuse themselves
Before the wind gently but swiftly rushes them along
With a final “Good day”, the grasshoppers and robins leave too…
