The winter creeps to us
With a defining silence
Devouring the landscape over night
The warm days of summer
Have long since faded
And a thick Darkness
Swallows the autumn sky
the sun seems to melt away
Before your eyes
The remnants of flowers and trees
Are left hungry
With a craving for light
As the white wash winner
Slowly Lulls the world to sleep
