"Love, Happiness, everything imaginable, is possible, when I look in your eyes...I feel my heart pound out of my chest...I feel such joy just by hearing your voice..."

Wandering through the fields,
wishing, no dreaming of a better
time...a time where smiles are
surrounding the face
once held so beloved

A time where wishes are going to come true
and love seems to conquer all
Seems like a child's wish no?

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't a dream
is a dream no matter who dreams it
Why say it won't come true?

Why not imagine it will? Why not allow yourself to believe just once
That a dream WILL come true

That your wishes can be granted
why not just allow yourself
to remain naive of the cruelty
of the reality we live in?

Naivete is better then bitterness
Innocence is a virtue which we all can learn from

The author's comments:
Looking around at the pain and suffering that people have gone through, made me wish that people could just go back to the naive days called childhood. For even as you become an adult, you can still have the heart, and be just as innocent as you were in those days. I do not really care what people will get from this poem. They may like it, or they may not. It's their choice no matter what.
