Time is ticking away
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock
Yet there’s still nothing to say
You make a move
But quickly retreat
Every time with cold feet
Feet apart, on opposite ends
Small glances
Out of the sides of our eyes
Will we ever talk?
Say a single word?
Or pass the time in silence?
Sitting in silence
Nothing being said
Time is ticking away.
