Staring into the sun
Doesn’t burn your eyes
Drawing with crayola
Doesn’t have to stay in the lines
Drinking coke
Doesn’t sizzle in your throat
After a while
Tears
Will be the only medicine left
The sea
Will slowly swallow the sun
The leaves
Will stop falling, start drifting
After a while
Words like pain
Begin to blur themselves out
Times like today
Will seem better than tomorrow
Places like home
Change by the second
After a while
Everything.
Changes.
