Broken Hearts and Merciless Clocks
The moonlight glows
Through the stained window
Which heartbreakingly knows:
It is not real.
Yet still it yearns
To love and to feel
The child crys
On this day
Her soul dies
Confusion and pain
A lifetime or torments
All due to one flickering flame
Darkness envelops light
This neverending battle
Between the Sun and the Night;
Countless numbers fall to the "Cause"
Whilst all this could be over
If leaders would simply pause
